Al-Furqaan Prep School is committed to safeguarding, promoting and protecting children from maltreatment in or outside the home, including online, and providing help and support to meet the needs of children as soon as problems emerge. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Our Safeguarding children officers are:
- Mrs. F Mullan (DSL)
- Mr. A. M. Rawat (Deputy DSL)
DSL – Is a senior member of the school’s leadership team who is designated to take lead responsibility for dealing with safeguarding issues.
Operation Encompass School
We are an Operation Encompass School – Operation Encompass is a partnership between police and schools.
One of the principles of Operation Encompass is that all incidents of domestic abuse are shared with schools, not just those where an offence can be identified.
