Curriculum Overview

At Al-Furqaan Preparatory School, our curriculum provides pupils with a broad and balanced education, following the National Curriculum within our Islamic framework. We aim to support every pupil’s academic, personal, moral and spiritual development.

Particular emphasis is placed on the development of literacy and numeracy, alongside the knowledge, skills and understanding needed for pupils to progress successfully through their education.

Teaching is adapted to the ages, aptitudes and needs of our pupils. Pupils are taught through a range of whole-class, group and individual approaches, and their learning and progress are assessed regularly.
